1. What jini is
jini is a personal health companion app for people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease. It helps you log symptoms, track patterns, and receive personalized insights based on your own data.
2. jini is not medical advice
jini does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice. It is an informational tool. Always consult your gastroenterologist or healthcare provider before making changes to your treatment plan. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use jini. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use jini for its intended purpose — tracking and understanding your own health. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app, use it to harm others, or misrepresent your identity.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep jini available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We'll do our best to communicate changes that affect your experience.
6. Intellectual property
The jini app, its design, and its content are owned by us. Your health data belongs to you — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
7. Limitation of liability
jini is provided "as is." We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the app. jini is a companion tool, not a substitute for professional medical care.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
