The short version

Your family's health record is yours. We use it for one thing: helping you manage your family's health. It is never sold, never shown to other users, and never used to train AI models.

1. What we collect

  • Account info: Your email address and how you sign in (Google or an emailed code).
  • Your family's record: The family members you add (name, date of birth, sex, relationship), the reports you upload, your conversations with jini (typed and spoken; voice notes are transcribed to text), and the record jini keeps from all of it, like each member's health background and your to-do list.
  • Diagnostics: Server logs that tell us when something breaks so we can fix it.

2. How we use your data

To run jini for you: reading your reports, answering your questions, tracking what's changing across your family, and preparing you for doctor visits. We also send the emails the product needs, like sign-in codes, and use limited public-page activity for advertising measurement as described below.

3. AI and data processing

jini is built on AI, and a few providers process your data to make it work: OpenAI powers jini's reasoning, Reducto reads the reports you upload, and AssemblyAI transcribes your voice notes. Each one processes your data only to provide the service, and none of them use it to train their models.

4. Advertising measurement

On the public sign-in page and the brief page shown immediately after account creation, jini uses Meta and TikTok pixels to measure whether an ad led to a visit or sign-up. Meta and TikTok receive the page URL, browser and device details, IP-derived information, their cookies if present, and a page-view or completed-registration event. The pixels never load inside the signed-in app, and we do not send either platform your email, account ID, family information, reports, or conversations. You can manage this activity through Meta's off-Meta activity controls and TikTok's ad privacy settings.

5. How we store it

Your data lives in a managed Postgres database, and every access is scoped to your account. Uploaded reports live in a private storage bucket, served only through short-lived links after we verify you own them. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

6. Who can see your data

Only you. Your family's record is never visible to other users, and our team accesses it only to debug an issue you report, with your knowledge. Your family's record is never shared with anyone for marketing or advertising. The limited public-page activity shared with Meta is described above.

7. Your family's information

jini is built for one person managing their family's health, so the record you keep will include information about your relatives. Add a family member's information only with their knowledge and consent; for your children, you decide as their parent or guardian. You must be at least 16 to hold an account.

8. Deletion

You can remove a report from the record at any time in the app. To delete your account and everything in it, email us and we will delete it all within 30 days.

9. Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the app before they take effect.
